I like it. I think it's better than
Adrienne, better than
Adriana, and miles better than Adrian-on-a-gal.
I don't see what it would be trying to be, other than a fem form of
Adrian formed like
Julian /
Julia etc. It's a tiny bit artificial (because
Adrienne and
Adriana exist), but I think not more so than
Aria as a name, and definitely not more so than something like
Collins or
Everleigh.
