Annemarie is a nice name I personally associate it with German or Dutch names unlike others
I do think it's a lovely name but I feel like it's overrated - if we're talking about German "combination" name I'd rather choose Lieselotte

Well, French is my first language. So Anne-Marie is the way to go! :P

I prefere Annemarie.
Seems a bit out-of-date to me, but I still like it.

With Marie, I prefer the French spelling - Anne with an -e. Anne-Marie is more user-friendly; I can imagine someone unfamiliar with the name trying out the sounds and arriving at or close to Anemone.

Annmarie is my cousin's name (well, my dad's cousin). Growing up she always went by Annie, and nowadays usually goes by Ann. I very much associate the name with her, as I've never encountered the name anywhere else (not even in fiction).Though I'm not normally a fan of "combination" names, I do like the flow. I prefer the spelling Annemarie, though (the two Ns followed by an M look weird to me).

Love it. This is my favorite version of the name too. Not hugely into Anne-Marie etc.
It's very classical and elegant without being over the top. *ik I love over the top names but it's like certain dishes at dinner: sometimes you crave something else over another you like depending on your mood. Like the diverse name nerd I am.. I like Mary AND Tisiphone, Jane AND Delphinium, but it depends which one I'm vibing with on any given day.

I feel that. The other day I came across the name Philophrosyne and I instantly loved. To keep it with food, the name is like a lucious Miyazaki Mango, but other times you just want a plain apple (darn those allergies though).

I like it, it's lovely. Especially when it is spelled Anne-Marie. Annemarie is also nice. I don't really care for the Annmarie spelling, because I don't like the Ann spelling of Ann.
Also I feel like Annmarie looks smushier than Annemarie, like it might be read as "ANN-mry" instead of "ANN-MA-REE."
and I would not want to sign the name Annmarie in cursive. The e would make it easier to do!
