It has some Hollywood glamour attached to it too, via Burnett and Channing. I don't like the e on the end because it just seems unnecessary and misleading.
Carol makes a pretty middle name too, especially for a Xmas-time baby.

My sister's name is Carol Eve which has a definite Christmas vibe!
Carole is classic enough to not feel dated.
Some great combos have been suggested. If you go with a middle name starting with a "C" you could nickname her CiCi
