What are some names that you like? Where do you live and what language is going to be spoken around the child? Padilla is a Hispanic surname, are you looking for typically Hispanic first names?

Spain also colonized places such Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Morocco, Guam, Jamaica, the Philippines and Trinidad and Tobago. So if it's one of those places, maybe names that originate from those places, as well as Spanish origin names may be appropriate.

I think the best sounding names would have nicknames that are punchy and short, or ending in Y or ie. Or just be like that without a nickname.
Nothing ending in A(H) or S or M or P. Probably not R, either, and certain L endings. Because of running together with the P.
No emphatic "ee" sounds (like in Dean or Ezekiel).
Let's look at the top 20 or so.
How about Oliver "Ollie," Henry, Luke (prob. not Lucas), Mateo, Jack, Daniel "Dan," John?
I would suggest Rafael but it doesn't really have a great nickname. If you prefer longish names, it'd be good.
Max would be good despite ending in S, I think.
Henry and Jack seem the coolest to me, of the most widely-liked names right now, with Padilla.
Just scrolling the chart and picking out possibilities:
Rhett, Alan, Enzo, Simon, Roy, Archie, Hugo, Erik, Damon, Diego, Lucian, Raul, Cade, Oakley, Aaron?
What is your style, I dunno.
Peter is actually not bad if you like the memorable alliteration. Pete Padilla sounds alright, likeable.
