[Opinions] Thoughts on Jesminda?
Living for unusual yet still somewhat familiar/recognizable female J names for a South Asian fictional character. Partial to longer names that can give the nickname Jed, which I think is super cool on a girl. Some I’ve come across:Jesminda
Jessamine I like the naming style in Grishaverse, ie turning Ines into a more Middlr Eastern sounding Inej. What do people think of these names? Any others that would fit the bill? And unfortunately, no, I’m not a big fan of Josephine or Jasmine. Thanks!!

There is a British-American actress called Parminder Kaur Nagra who played a character called Jesminder “Jess” Bhamra in an early 2000s film Bend It Like Beckham.Slightly different spelling but I like the name and the character Parminder played.

I think that this name is so pretty, that I’d actually name a daughter Jesminda (though, I’m not South Asian at all). I also think Jessamina would be prettier than Jessamine, but I don’t hate Jessamine (it’s actually my state flower, so I love the name!)

Jesminda is neat. Reminds me a little bit of Jaswinder / Jasvinder, or Jasminder, but avoids the allusion to Jasmine better. Jessamine is cool but it seems to me like it's totally English and basically means Jasmine.
