[Games] Lynxosophy's NTNB Part 0 + 1
Hi everyone, sorry for not posting for ages, I've been super busy and a lot has happened. I thought I'd do a new NTNB as I've lost track of where I'm at with the one I made before, and I'll probably do this one a bit more simply following one family from the 1910s onwards. Let's begin!
DH [b. 1911]:
DW [b. 1913]:
DS [b. 1934]:
DD1 [b. 1936]:
DD2 [b. 1939]:
The year is currently 1940. DH comes from a French family who emigrated to England following World War I, where his family settled in Cambridge. There, he met DW, who comes from a Scottish family who moved to Cambridge during the war to help in the war efforts. DH and DW married in 1931, and DH found work at a local factory whilst DW looked after their home. They soon grew their family with one son and two daughters, the youngest of whom was born just a few months before the beginning of World War II. DH enlisted with the British Royal Air Force, whilst DW made the difficult decision to send DS, DD1 and DD2 to Wales for evacuation after Cambridge faced the threat of bombing. DH and DW regularly exchange letters with each other, as well as with DS, DD1 and DD2.
DH's FN is in the top 50 most popular names in France in 1911 (https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/france/1911), his MN is ranked between 100 - 200 on the same list, and his LN is French in origin and begins with D
DW's FN is a Scottish variant of a classic English name, her MN is a virtue name, and her LN is a Scottish Clan name (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Scottish_clans)
DS's FN is ranked between 50 - 150 on France's popular names list in 1934 (https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/france/1934) and his MN is Scottish
DD1's FN and MN are both found on Scotland's popular names list in 1936 (https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/scotland/1936)
DD2's FN is a flower name and her MN is ranked between 100 - 200 on France's popular names list in 1939 (https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/france/1939)
