I knew Golda, Golden, Gold, Fortuna, Fortune, Worth, Prosper were a thing, but I was surprised at how many people (seems mostly women, although includes 5 boys in the US in 2021) have been named Wealth or some variation over the centuries.
What do you think of Wealth? Are all the variations terrible or are some better than others? Do you like any names in the "money" category (like the examples I mentioned or others)?

There is a word only but I don't like it for child that I find unattractive for me.

Wealth? Really? Why would you name your child Wealth?

I'd assume the family was into the Quiverful movement, or perhaps from somewhere in Africa.
Wealthy rolls off the tongue better than Wealth but it still doesn't do much for me.
In terms of Money names, I like good ol' Rich. Golda is great, Prosper is too. Fortuna is fun. Windfall would be something.... I don't suppose anybody is named that

I actually found a couple people who have been named Windfall. One was Windfall Snow, born at the end of 1929, first year of the Great Depression. What a name.

I don't associate them with money or wealth - more just that they happen to coincide with words related to financial success.
Of them, Golda, Prosper, and Fortuna seem like fine names to me (not to give to a real person, but theoretically). ...okay, I really like Prosper hah.

No, I hate them. I don't even like them as character names for writing or sims either - and I like some pretty goofy names for certain things.
If I had to choose a favourite, it'd be Fortuna, but they all seem very icky to me.
Others to add to the list is Goldie (Goldie Wilson from Back to the Future) and Goldilocks. These are the only two I was are of since I was a kid and always presumed that Goldie was a nickname for something, like how you could use it as a nickname for blonde hair. I wasn't sure of how it could have been a nickname for Goldie Wilson as he had black hair, but that's about as much thought as I put into it.
Can't say I like these two either, but I'd put Goldie under Fortuna and over everything else.
I think the worst one is probably Wealth and then Wealthy. I think at least Welthea etc have the benefit of possibly being names from foreign countries or something if you squinted and tilted your head and didn't put much thought into it, but I'm grasping at straws

I saw Welthea first, and it was next to stuff like Weyrich and Bearsheba...I thought, "Is this some weird Americanization of Althea, sort of like Elthea? Is it a rare German name??" haha
I guess it's not too far-fetched, though. It's not like German and Old English don't cross over.

In that context, I'd presume much the same, especially since it drops the a in wealth and goes with welth, so you'd presume the name was a prefix of wel- and the normal feminine suffix of -thea
