[Opinions] Esperance?

I love it, and it would make a spectacular name for a naval vessel.
Eh, I favor Esperanza, sorry. To me it sounds more "hopeful," while Esperance sounds cold and prim and faux-poetic to me, like the obsolete English noun that it is. Also it sounds a bit like the words desperate and prance. However, I agree it is prettier than Hope.
I could like Sperantia or Esperantia.

Esperance is mystical and lovely. It's far better than Hope, which I've always found thuddingly ugly.
dont like it at all.
I had a boss once named Esperance. She was unmarried, middle-aged and made a point of being tough at all times. Her father had been, I think, the first principal of the local teacher-training college, and one of its residences for female students was Esperance House, after her. She never had a nickname that I ever heard or heard of.
I prefer Esperance to Hope, but not nearly enough to consider using it.

I like it, it sounds like something from a fantasy video game.
Esperance is lovely. Both Esperance and Esperanza would make wonderful character names, and I feel Esperance a little more usable for the real world. I much prefer it to Hope. However, if I were to use it I'd use it in the middle. I'll suggest "Essie" or "Perrie" as nicknames. Possibly "Es" as well.
