Edward - Ed ~ Ed's okay, but Edward's better
Richard - Dick ~ love Dick, I hear it and think of a cute 19th century cockney boy

Katherine - Kathy ~ I think of my great-aunt Kathy, not exactly what I want to think of

Olivia - Livvy ~ neutral
Penelope - Penny ~ hate Penny
Rebecca - Becky ~ I don't especially like either name, but Becky's much worse
Susannah - Sukie ~ AGREE!!!
I also dislike the nickname Rae from Rachel, Sadie from Sarah (how do they get Sadie anyway?), Tori from Victoria (like the sound, but it reminds me of the political party), LuLu from Louisa, and Madge from Margaret.
