I'm really favoring Rylie, because where I'm from no one has that name. Names aren't used the same amount everywhere.

Sorry, but awful. Allie as a nn wouldn't be horrible, but paired with Rylie, esp. with this spelling, they are just too similar sounding. Rylie (any spelling) is horrible for a girl anyway, imo. :-/

Not too bad. I like Alexandria and Allison, too, as well as Allie. And Rylie is okay. :)-Kate

I don't think Allie or Rylie will age well at all. Allie seems perpetually young to me, and Rylie screams bratty toddler who was born in the 2000s.
I have less of an issue with Riley or Reilly however, which seem to age slightly better to me. I love the nn Allie but to me it has to be short for something even if the only reason is that a name like Alexandra, Alexis, Alessandra, Allison, or Alana will serve them much better in adulthood. Think about a business executive called Allie, a doctor called Allie, a lawyer or judge called Allie or a president called Allie. It just doesn't seem right.

Hate it, sorry. I don't like either name, and the "-ee" ending in both makes the set terribly cutesy.

What if Alie is spelt Ally? i like them tho!

Ok, I like Allie as a nn for Alex, Alyssa, Alison or Alannah and I prefer Rylie for a boy spelt Reilly. What about Allie and Kylie or Allie and Brylie?Mum to Hayley Anne

To me Riley seems a lot more feminine anyway, so I wouldn't use it for a boy, but I love the name used for a girl especially when it's spelled Rylie because that's a feminine spelling and less likely to be confused than Riley. I don't want Allie to be short for anything because I really don't like any of the long forms, and I really like just plain Allie.

Allie sounds too nicknamey but I would like it if it was a nickname for Alexandra or Allison. I hate Riley in any spelling on a girl because it sounds very masculine to my ears. Instead of Rylie, how about..Ruth or Ruthie
Ruby
Rose or Rosie
Ria
Rae
Raya
Rain or Raine
or maybe even Kylie?

I think Allie should be a nn for either Alexis or Alexandra.(or really any other Al name but these two are my favorites) I like Riley spelled this way. I think they would sound fine although a bit trendy.

I like Riley too but Rylie seems a little more feminine. Just Allie though, not short for another name.

Would Allie be a nick-name or regular name?
I like those names, but I like Allyson better.

A regular name. I don't want it to be short for anything though.

Well then those are not my favorites but, they sound really cute and little girl-ish.
