I think it's an upbeat, energetic, pleasantly-orange name. I don't associate it with the allergy medicine at all. I don't quite like it enough to use, but I do think it's a solid choice.

As a music person I can't not associate it with "allegro" so I probably wouldn't use it.

It used to happen in South Africa, almost exclusively in Afrikaans-speaking families. I haven't seen any examples for years.
