I quite like Patrick. I wouldn't use it, because my son is Peter and the idea of Pete and Pat is unpleasing. On the other hand, I heartily dislike Patricia, mostly for its nns - Patty and Trish are so very trite.

It's the sound that I don't like. I don't like the word "pat" to begon with, and "trick" just reminds me of tricks. Patrick has a long and honorable history, but I find it boring.

You're not alone, I'm not really fond of it either. Maybe Pat is better imo, but not Patrick.

I don't. It's overused, boring, and I dislike the sound.

It grew on me. Still prefer Philip though.

Patrick's a good name, even with all its history. It'll always be a good name, nothing more, really. I don't have a very strong opinion of it. I like it, nothing more. Its variants are a bit more interesting, Pádraig being my favorite of them.

I don't like it. It reminds me of St. Patrick's day and therefore drunk 1st year university students being stupid.
