[Opinions] Do you think Broke Second is a good name for a production company?
I chose the name Broke Second because life always and I do mean always put me at my breaking point before anything good, meaningful and fulfilling happens in my life since day one and Second because I was born July 2nd

I like the idea behind this, but I just don't like the way Broke Second sounds. Here's some brainstorming:Dark Second (referring to a "dark night of the soul" or the dark moments before life gives you something good)Second Rope or Second Tether (being at the end of your rope or tether)Second Break (this sounds way more positive, in the sense that in the movie business people are looking for their "big break", so it both refers to your breaking point as well as a turn of good luck. Break Second just doesn't sound as good)
They sound good thank you
The word "broke" in a business name does not project a good image to potential customers. Broke Second might have some meaning to you, but to the average person, if it suggests anything at all, sounds like the company's failed twice already.
My advice is have a more straightforward name for a company, one that gives some clue as to what you actually do. Mood Movies, Beautiful Beatz, something like that.
Anything that's good or at the very least I like is already trademarked that is why we are resorted to using weird names that has meaning to us (like Broke Second and Naughty Dog Games)
I personally thought of broke as in "having zero money".
Broken Second would seem better.
It's not exactly inspiring though.
Did you know that your birthday is at the midpoint of the year?
Naming something like this is hard because all the good words are taken.
I think you have a good idea in mixing two ideas to get a novel phrase.
I tried using your two ideas (crisis point / beginning, midpoint of the year) as inspirations, and I found name after name that I thought of, was taken. I thought Crux Alpha sounded pretty awesome but of course, there's a million things named by and associated with that, already. Even stuff that's a stretch, and kinda weird - if it sounds good, it's taken. Ugh!
Maybe when you are at your breaking point the perfect name will strike you.
Profuction of what? Cars? Clothes! ???
