It depends what the bearer looks like. I think of capri as a fair skinned girl who is carefree, while Simone seems like someone with a deep complexion who is serious.

Capri is a type of cropped pant leg, a Mediterranean island, sounds like caprice, and reminds me of Capri Sun drinks. It's very summery/breezy or casual, flighty, and nostalgic seeming.
Simone is a bit jazzy but more well-rounded and dependable seeming.
