Helena, pronounced heh-LAY-nuh. Helen is fine, not crazy about it.I don’t see the point of Helene. Is it pronounced Hel-LEEN?

I like Helen and Helena, don't like Helene as much.

Helena. I also like a lot of the international versions such as Yelena, Elena, and Olena.

I love all three and might prefer any one of them over the others at any time. Currently, I'm fondest of Helena.

Helena. Pronounced just as you'd do it, which is the Danish way.

Definitely Helen. Where I live, Helena is usually heh LEEa na, but I'm not keen on either version and I don't see the need for a French name when the English version is so lovely.
