[Opinions] Euphrosyne
I go through periods of thralldom to Euphrosyne; I'm in one at the moment. Its euphony is almost overwhelming and, indeed, joyous (the name means "mirth"), and I'm charmed by the mythological association and the surprising number of royal women who bore the name. My current nickname of choice is Frossie, though I also love the more traditional Effie. What do you think? Some combos:Euphrosyne Alice
Euphrosyne Maude
Euphrosyne Helen
Euphrosyne Amy (honoring)
Euphrosyne Matilda
Euphrosyne Olga
Euphrosyne Elena
Euphrosyne Clare / Clara
Euphrosyne Laura
Euphrosyne Agnes
Euphrosyne Martha
Euphrosyne Maria
Euphrosyne Amanda
Euphrosyne Rachel
Euphrosyne Linnea
Euphrosyne Althea
Euphrosyne Diana
Euphrosyne Alma
Euphrosyne Pearl
Euphrosyne Allegra
Euphrosyne Emilia

Ooh so cool! I’m a fan of almost all the ‘Eu’ names, they’re divine. I would use it on a cat in a heartbeat.
Frossie & Effie are both cute. I like
Euphrosyne Alice
Euphrosyne Amanda
Euphrosyne Diana
Euphrosyne Allegra

Euphrosyne Amanda is incredible! I like Euphrosyne a lot, because it's one of those clunky classical names I enjoy. The "Frozz" part really delights me, and I'm with you, I'd use Frozzie, but Effie is cute too.

Don't like it at all

I love it! Though I couldn’t use this on a person but I’m currently using it as the name of my main character. nn Effy. :)

I don’t think that I’m brave enough to name a daughter Euphrosyne, but I think it’s quite charming; Euphrosyne Amanda and Euphrosyne Rachel are beautiful.
