I love Violet. Claire is sweet, they suit each other. Clara and Violet would be great though. Very Victorian!

I like both but prefer Clara and Iola. :)

I don’t like the name Violet very much, but I think that Claire is beautiful. Another thing to add: I also prefer the spelling of Clare to the name Claire; it’s more simplistic in appearance, to my eyes.

Claire, don't like violet at all, too close to violent

I prefer Clare to Claire - I see no point in using French spelling when French pronunciation is unlikely and there is a perfectly good English version. I would seriously consider Clare for a daughter.
