Melpomene, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful names. I've created a number of polls about it, and they routinely attract harsh criticism. What are your thoughts on it? I think Pom is my favorite nickname.Some combos:Melpomene Clare

I find this name spooky (in an enjoyable way), maybe because the first place I ever heard it said aloud was in a horror movie. The "pomene" part really pleases me. I would be thrilled to find out a Mel was actually a Melpomene!

It’s a bit of a mouthful but Pom is adorable!Middle names I like for it from your list: Clare, Ruth, Flora, and Louise.

Quite fun. Pom is silly. Spell it Pomme, because being French is fancy. I'd prefer Melly. Hm... Melpomene Helen.
