1. Long because they are better as standalone names and can always be shortened to a nickname if the child prefers.

1. Short names
2. I don't mind either one, but I don't like rough boy names and frilly girly names, so I'll go for a unisex name.
3. Consonant endings.
4. S.
5. 1990s names. Because I like names from the late 20th century.
6. "ee" sound. In most cases I like the version that doesn't end in a.

8. Gemstone names.
9. French names.
10. End with "den".

Me too! Late-20th century is my favorite era of names, I think!

1. medium (4-7). My PNL has about the same amount of short and long names, but by far most are medium.
I feel like short names (3-4) are more appealing than long ones, but I probably like as many long ones as short.
Answering a lot of these is like that: I don't have a measurable preference, because I like names for other reasons, and there are only some that fit each category, that I do like. So a "preference" is just a feeling.
2. gendered
3. consonant m, vowel f
4. K
5. 90s
6. no preference ... probably "ah" if you count them up
7. R, I guess
8. flower
9. ehh probably Spanish.
10. den

Yeah, I figured most people would prefer medium, which is why I was curious about the comparison between short and long! :)
