I met the most insufferable boy named Fabian once. Haven't liked the name since.

I don't like the sound of it - not because it's too soft, it just sounds weird.

Not a fan. I typically like soft boys names, but this is too soft for me. I also dislike Fabbe, which us a common nickname here for Fabian.
We also have a saying; "Fy, Fabian" which I guess could translate to "Ew, Eugene". So that's my first association.

I recently discovered that Fabian was the name of one of my great...great..great-great grandfathers! It's a pretty neat name. Kind of flashy. A very exciting find in my family tree, that's for sure. I love that it means "bean", that's truly adorable.

I've never met one; don't find it very appealing, though there's a pleasant minor character with the name in Twelfth Night.

I went to high school with one. He was one of the popular guys. The name is not my style though.
