[Opinions] Amethyst Moonstone
On a different site I am on a thread for the most unusual children’s names of children they have met. One person mentioned meeting a girl called Amethyst Moonstone. My opinion later as I’m heading out but WDYT?Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from

Amethyst is a GP name for me but I too think Moonstone as a middle name is too much. I think it would work best for a witch or mythical creature.
It's so pretty but it's also very showy for a real person's name. It sounds like a fictional character. I'd use Amethyst as a middle name, and Moonstone not at all - is that the MN or LM?
Two gem names together just doesn't do it, for me. It's like Lily Rose, it's overkill.
I like Amethyst well enough but it’s terrible matched with Moonstone.
It's over the top and cartoon-character-ish.
Amethyst is beautiful on its own, but combining it with Moonstone is overdoing it.
Yikes! In general, I don't like gemstone names; I can just about face Pearl and Ruby because they've been used for so long. Others, however ... Amethyst is really not to my taste at all. Combined with Moonstone, I just don't get it. Both parents geologists? Both parents jewellers? Both parents really wanted their child to choose her own name, so gave her one (or two!) that she'll be pathetically grateful to ditch?
I think it's ok. Very Pisces.
It's less cliche than Amethyst Crystal or Amethyst Sage.
I like it more than something like Harper Sydney.

It’s the perfect nameFor a dollar store my little pony knockoff
I'd buy it.
I already think combining flower names is tacky, this is certainly a step beyond that...
Terrible, very hippie
Too much, something like Amethyst Stella would be better.

Hi!I like Amethyst (and Ametista as well) but combined with Moonstone makes a combo that is too much. Amethyst Luna
Amethyst Selene
Amethyst Menodora These ones would work better imo.
Ametista would be neat. I haven't seen that before.
'Amatista' is the form of Amethyst in the Philippines. I think it's beautiful.
