E is my favorite girl initial and I was wanting to add to my list. Unusual is preferred since they are less likely to already be on there, but I am game for sharing classic favorites too like Elizabeth. Thank you!

I cant believe I forgot about Enya that is a pretty one too. Embeth is also another good celebrity name one. I always am happy to see Ember

Glad to see some appreciation for Émeraude! :) It should be more common in France - if Perle, Ambre and Jade charted, why not Émeraude?
Yesss definitely, it's much more pleasing than those other names imo. I'm not a fan of gem names but Émeraude sounds so elegant~
I could never rank mine it would take me entirely too long to pit some against the others. A great list. Why do you like Euphemia best?
I'm not sure, it just checks all my boxes. The Eu- sound is one of my favorites, it has personal significance, and it's charming and regal.

Thank you! I can't remember for sure where I found Etherea and Enchantra, it may have been Nameberry but I cant say for sure. Edessa I definitely found on here perusing the submitted database a number of years ago. It definitely appeals to me. It feels unusual but elegant. Like a fairy princess to me.

DH's family tree contains cousins named Eileen and Edna - round about 1900 I think.
I think it is because of my lingering traces of my childhood speech impediment but I can't find myself to like Edna because it was one of the words I couldn't say. I love Edwina, ELoise and Elia though

All good classics. My niece is an Eloise. Bad associations are hard to fight. I love Carolina but the only girl I knew with it was an absolute bully in school
I likewise love Evanthe and Emerence. Evelina is pretty! I haven't considered Esmeray before
I love Elisabeth too, Eleanora is also a nice one. I'm not completely sure why but I'm not into Eleanor.
