[Opinions] York
What do you think of York as a first name for a boy? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Weird coincidence, I met someone named York today. Nothing against him, but I kind of hate it, aesthetically (it's like Jersey, Lancaster, Plantagenet, Nottingham, ugh). Though in practice, it's basically Yorick soundwise, which is medieval/geeky/whatever.

Better than Eboracum, but not good on a human at all.

To me it doesn't read as a person's name. I just think of the place in England named York. Probably not a big deal if you don't live in the UK (or Ireland) though.

Outside of the UK New York jokes are probably going to get really annoying really quickly.
