[Opinions] Ann and Anne
Previously, I thought these names were boring, so I wasn't interested in Anne, and in Ann's case, I preferred them as nicknames rather than full names. But when I looked up the rankings, I noticed that the names Ann and Anne weren't that common compared to how I perceived them. What do you think about Ann and Anne?

Anne is elegant, Ann is prosaic.
I have always loved the name Anne, and I also enjoy the sister-spelling "Ann". Personally, I find it a classy, elegant name with a punch to it.
Somehow Ann feels cuter, younger, and more fresh to me. It's got the same energy as something like Molly or Nora or Meg. Homey, honest, humble, and pert.Anne is very pretty and more formal. Theres a stiffness to it, a starchy white collar sort of uprightness. It feels like an Ann that has gone to finishing school. Reminds me of names like Marie, Joan, or Rose. I used to find Ann too abrupt, but now I honestly kind of love it. I could see Ann coming back into vogue.
I love Anne and find it timelessly elegant. Ann is starchier and staider and not without charm.
I love Anne! Tho I’d go with Anna. Or Annika (which is top of my list).Anne reminds me of Anne of Green Gables and my late aunt. But Anna wins out because it has a sweetness to it.Ann on the other hand feels incomplete.
I think they are very plain. I do prefer the look of Anne, though. Ann feels too short for some reason. I like Annie and Anna better, but those are not too interesting either.
I prefer Anna.
