I think Willoughby is awesome! Sounds very British hipster to me and I’m here for it. I’d imagine he has siblings with names like Montgomery, Darcy, Franklin, Percy, Tabitha, Matilda, Lucinda, Jemima, Evelyn and names like those.

Okay. Secondary character kind of name.

I love the sound, but hate the spelling. I'd prefer something like Willaby.

I love Willoughby! Although I’m undecided if it’s one that would be practical for a real person…I guess it’s a guilty pleasure for me. It would definitely make a good mn though!

I love how aristocratic and eccentric it sounds. However, the antiquated sound and the unnecessarily long spelling is a downside.

We had a poster whose son was Willoughby. I liked her and I liked the name.

It's such a pretty sound, isn't it? Jane Austen chose well for her character with that name. It's cartoonishly Romantic. So windswept and breathless. It's not meant for the harsh light of Real Life. Billowy Willoughby. I tried to find a different spelling for it, but nothing looks right.

As a first name it's kind of cartoonishly old-fashioned British; like he'd have chums named Percy and Nigel and probably be a friend of Bertie Wooster. They'd call each other Barmy and Sniffy and Woofy.

Don't like it at all
