[Opinions] Aubrey and Audrey
What do you think about these names? I'm neutral about these two names and don't particularly like or dislike them.

As an Audrey, I cannot count how many times I've been mistaken for Aubrey. I'm sure I'm partially biased, but I much prefer my name. However, that wasn't always the case. As a child I hated how uncommon and FAR less frequent it was compared to my sister's name.
As I got older, I learned to embrace my name and have since come to like it. I love its infrequency yet familiarity and the vintage and classic vibe that surrounds it.
Aubrey on the other hand just doesn't carry those same descriptions as it's more of a boy turned girl name, flash-in-the pan type. I think it would have been better had it remained a boy's name or have not have had an immense explosion on girls, turning it into a modern fad name for girls. 🫤
In any case, I find it awkward to say and even to listen to. When it comes to names, I tend to prefer the letter 'D' in general and not so much 'B' so it's no surprise as to why I prefer that "drey/dree" over "brey/bree"
Funny how one reversed letter can make such a difference, but it's certainly there.
I like Audrey, quite a proper and nice name.Aubrey is meh, I don't particularly like or dislike it.
I like them and think that you couldn't go wrong with them. I also love their elongated, "sister-names" of Audrielle and Aubriana.
I'm quite neutral about them too. But not long ago I used to find both of them cute, especially Audrey.By the way, I know that Aubrey is unisex but I've met only girls named Aubrey, so it's feminine to me. I wonder what nicknames could be used, if any🙃: Brey or Bree for Aubrey and Drew 😳, Dree, Audie for Audrey?
The ones I know just go by Dree or Bree for the NN
I dislike the sounds of both.
Audrey. Aubrey is kind of cute to me but I've known to few mean girls with it growing up. Plus the sound of it always makes me think of someone is trying to talk with their cheeks full of food like a squirrel lmao. Audrey is really classical sounding to me. It used to be one of my top names. I still really love the idea of Audrey Elisabeth.
I like them both! I couldnt point out which one I like better tho.May favor Audrey cause of the actress.
Audrey is a very nice name, though not my style. Aubrey should have remained a masculine name, in my opinion.
I think Audrey is such a lovely name and better than Aubrey, though I don't think Aubrey is a bad name by any means!
Audrey. Aubrey is a bit awkward to say.
I agree
I like Audrey but don't like Aubrey
