Kaylynn is a name I found in today’s newspaper. All I can think is Caitlin when I see it and suspect that she may have to spell her name out as I don’t think I’m the only one who initially thinks Caitlin but WDYT?

Personally, I think Gideon is awful but Gillean is fine.

A Gille or sometimes Ghillie is a man’s highland servant (think more like guide when hunting, hawking or fishing). I wonder if the name means servant of…..

I'm not a fan of that spelling. I prefer Kaylen

Kaylynn is ok, even if only a combo of popular sounds, but I don’t like that spelling, it’s awkward.
Gillean is odd to me and only reminds me of the girls’ name Gillian. I’d prefer Gilead, although that seems to be controversial in the comments due to the association with the book/show. But it’s not my association so I personally think it’s ok.
