Sounds like the twins' parents were given a bunch of Scrabble tiles and told they could only use those letters to make up names. And maybe they also ate some okra beforehand.
A lot of these look like the kind of misheard or misunderstood words a little kid or someone with poor hearing would come up with.
And Newt is godawful and fugly.
