So what do you think of Valentine and Melissa as names?
I ask about Melissa since St. Valentine was the patron saint or love, epilepsy and beekeepers!

I prefer Valerie to Valentine; both are likely to be shortened to Val.
Melissa is far too sweet and sugary; appropriate, no doubt, but if I wanted that meaning I'd go for tough, no-nonsense Deborah.

Melissa is okay but I know too many of them.
Always kinda liked Valentine. From long ago research, iirc, there were actually 7 saints of that name in the RC calendar.
