[Opinions] Rosetta
Rosetta is a long-time favorite of mine that I've been thinking a lot about lately. While I assume it's rarely given as a full name in Italy (please correct me, Italian BtN users!), as an English-speaking American, I find it at once sophisticated and ornamental (maybe because of "rosette") and brassy/jazzy (because of "-etta"). And as a former student of ancient languages, I think the Rosetta Stone (that is, the literal stele) association only burnishes the name's glamor. What do you think? Some combos:Rosetta Amy (honoring)
Rosetta Eve
Rosetta Blanche
Rosetta Muriel
Rosetta Cleïs
Rosetta Beatrice
Rosetta Sigrid
Rosetta Ingrid
Rosetta Phryne
Rosetta Constance
Rosetta Enid
Rosetta Agnes
Rosetta Blythe
Rosetta Gertrude
Rosetta Ruby
Rosetta Vashti
Rosetta Sibyl
Rosetta Sappho
Rosetta Clare
Rosetta Phoebe
Rosetta Hebe
Rosetta Iris
Rosetta Cecilia
Rosetta Hortense

Rosetta is one Rose name I can’t warm up to (another is Rosella because of the bird).Rosetta Clare is nice, as is Rosetta Amy.

Rosetta Amy is so sweetly vintage! I also find Rosetta quite "jazzy" - I think the early 20th century craze for all things Egyptian colours my perception of the name. Rosetta fits in perfectly with that era, right on the cusp of the Belle Epoque and the start of the 1920s. It's got a great mix of faded Edwardian elegance and irreverent flapper. So many amazing combos here. Rosetta Ruby delights me. Rosetta Blanche, Rosetta Muriel, Rosetta Blythe, Rosetta Sibyl, so good!

Me and my vintage rock. Alan Price and Georgie Fame sang 'Rosetta, are you better, are you well, well, well?' This is the first bit of the first stanza; there's more but I'll spare you! Well, my little girl is a sweet little girl but she does things, makes your eyebrows curl
You let her loose on a Friday night
You know it's gonna end in a fight
Rosetta are you better, are you well, well, well
Rosetta are you better, are you well, well, well
Well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well
