I love it!
I haven't met any IRL that I can remember. Aside from the constellation this name mainly reminds me of lyres, which make me think artsy/musical, and also remind me of classical mythology and historical vibes. I also think of Lyra from His Dark Materials, but she doesn't fit most of the associations I have with the name and she has the wrong hair (Lyra is a black-haired name IMO).
I used to read it as lie-ruh and leer-uh about equally, but now I always default to lie-ruh.

Lyra isn’t one of my favorite names, but it’s pretty. I’ve never met a Lyra. I pronounce it LIE-ruh.
I pronounce it Lie-ruh. It is beautiful to me. One of my favorite 4 letter girl names. Not as high on my list as it used to be but still quite pretty. I imagine a Lyra as an inquisitive girl with curls. I imagine her as a blonde. I imagine her being reserved but playful with friends.
I think the name is, like Hermione, Romeo, Sherlock, too associated with the character. Although I love Philip Pullman’s Lyra.
Lyra is lie-ra. She lies quite a bit to get her way and I wonder if that’s a reason behind her name.

It hasn't really stood out to me because it just sounds similar to a lot of other common names, but even so I can appreciate its sort of melodic and timeless appeal. This is also probably pretty childish, but I think of mermaids when I hear it lol, and lyre playing of course. I don't think I've ever met a Lyra, but I heard of a celebrity whose daughter bears this name. Instinctively, I would pronounce it LIE-ruh.
I would pronounce it leer uh, I find it okay, I don’t believe I would ever use it though
Sadly, I've never warmed up to this name, despite my love of the lyre and what it represents. "Lyra" just sounds strident and sour to me.
I know a girl who changed her legal name to Lyra. Very pretty.
LIEra, because the character in the Philip Pullman books had the ability to fib her way out of trouble. In the context of the books, this is a great advantage. Also, of course, there's the constellation, named after the musical instrument.
Meeting a Lyra would be like meeting anyone else. I never have, so far.
