It's usable. I worked with a gal named Arwen. It seemed pretty ordinary after a short time.
I would rather it were spelled Aruen. The w sound is too strong for me in Arwen. If I could I'd pop back in time and change it for Tolkien.- mirfak

Aruen is interesting. If I saw that with no context I would read it as a 3-syllable boys name.
