It doesn't appeal to me a lot, just as a name I might like.
If I met a woman named Valeraine I'd think it was neat, not horrible.
I probably would rather call her by a nickname though.

It’s ok. I prefer it to Valerie or Elaine or Raine by themselves. Like others have said it does sound like a combo name or the name for a female fantasy character. When I first saw it I thought it was valerian.

It does sound vaguely medicinal... That gives it a witchy vibe, which is cool. Is it based on something? Valerie & Raine maybe?

It calls to mind this moisturizer I once used that contained toleriane…

I don’t think I’d use it in real life, but it would be perfect for a fantasy character.I can picture it on a strong female main character.

It reminds me of the name Roselaine, but I would consider Valeraine masculine for some reason. Sounds like a fantasy character.

I would rather Valerie, because I don't care for the -aine sound at the end on this one. It's okay, though.

I don't like it much prefer Valerie, don't like Raine

For anyone, it looks as if it was put together from leftovers. Valerie plus Elaine, no doubt. But, since it will shorten to Val anyway, I don't see the point.

I agree. This looks like a mess

I think it's pretty! It's a more elegant way to get the name Rain/Raine.
