I dislike Wendy. Ick.
Moira has an unpleasant "oi" sound. I'd prefer Maira or Myra.
Angela has a bad "ONE-two-three" sound but better than the others.

I'd choose Moira, though I also like Angela. Wendy irks me.

In those forms - Moira.I’d choose Gwendolen over Wendy, and Evangeline or Angelique over Angela (or maybe even Angel).

Oh, Moira, hands down! Wendy is cute in theory but doesn't hold my attention that long, and Angela never did much for me.

I've met three Wendys. They were all different and varying ages, but all 3 were laidback and personable. I'd pick that if I had to go by one of these; for a kid, it's maybe tied with Angela.I have the least feelings about Angela. It seems unassuming and pretty. I don't know any well, and the ones I've met in passing weren't memorable.I used to really like Moira, until I met one. The Moi seemed buoyant sounding, and I like that it coincides with the Fates. But the moy sound ended up feeling annoying to say regularly, and Moira herself was unsettling to be around.

1. Angela - dated but once I get past that, I like it
2. Moira -I like it because of Moira Rose, but not in love with the oi sound
3. Wendy -not sure how I feel about it.

Moira. Interesting, not widely used. Second place, Angela: still pleasant, but rather dated. Wendy ... a friend's husband really wanted to name their daughter Wendy, until his wife told him its origin - a little girl who was JM Barrie's 'friendy-wendy'. He changed his mind!

Wasn't he also a child when he was friends with the Wendy- girl though? That's what I remember. I don't think it was inappropriate.

Not inappropriate at all; just yucky. Like a doggy-woggy or a kitten-witten.
