I think that Marianne is such a beautiful name for a girl! However, I do prefer the name Marion.

A lovely name. It's made of two names that are dull on their own - strange, isn't it? I like Marianna more, though.

Tied irrevocably to Sense and Sensibility, the silly sister.

Prefer Annemarie or Marianna but overall great names.

It's okay. I don't love how in English, between both combined names, it kinda spreads together.

Used to be one of my favourites! I thought it was storybook sweet but also feisty, in the same vein as Alice and Clara.

I think Marianne is lovely in its simplicity. It reminds me of Marianne Dashwood in "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen,I like Marianna too.

It's beautiful, and it makes me think of So Long, Marianne by Leonard Cohen.

I like it very much. Certainly for a mn; perhaps even as a fn. Much, much better than Mary-Ann.
