Darya - prefer Daria
Acer - don't like dictionary names, even if it is a Latin dictionary
Scilla - fine as a nn for Priscilla, otherwise not
Shura - sounds like a trade name: With Shura insurance your home will be safe!
Eiran - looks Irish and fem, is Hebrew and male. Too complicated
Eleni - far prefer Helen or Eleanor
Pearl - not bad; I know a wonderful one, but I prefer Margaret
Celeste - over-optimistic; prefer Sally
Harri - would spend his or her life explaining why it wasn't either Harry or Harriet; not worth the effort
Madeline - pleasantly neat and tidy
Marilyn - dated; should always have been a one-owner name
Astra - all right, I suppose, for people who don't mind it being plural; better than Astrum
Muse - oh dear. Both a dictionary word and a very ambitious demigoddess
Shelby - Ish thish itsh Shelby date? All I can think of.
Elle - sisters Kaye and Emme?
Alva - like Eiran above: looks fem but isn't. Yet another lifetime of explanations, either way.
