Its okay. I much prefer Claire. The Clara entry says it means "bright, clear, famous".

I feel that Clara is a gorgeous, classy name that is underused!

I love the name Clara, rhyming with car not air. It’s my favourite girl name.

It comes from the same Latin word as 'clear' and 'clarify'. I prefer Clare, that spelling only, and would use it IRL, but I do like Clara as long as it is pronounced CLAHra, not with the Clar- rhyming with air. Or, indeed, if Clara rhymes with Sarah.

I think it's an okay name. I don't love it, but I don't dislike it. I prefer Chiara personally. Clara is the feminine form of the Late Latin name Clarus, which meant "clear, bright, famous"
