Thoughts on Jacqueline or Jacquelyn?
I think both names are ugly, honestly. Just wanted to hear your take on these names

I strongly dislike them. They do not look or sound good.
Never understood the appeal. There isn't a single syllable in the name that has an appealing sound to me. It's not horrible, though. I suppose it looks nice on paper. I do prefer the French pronunciation. If I had to choose between the two spellings, I would go with Jacqueline.

I think that Jacqueline is a really pretty name; it's so classy and elegant to me!
Their pretty but I can never seem to spell them easily.
I prefer Jacqueline to Jacquelyn though I prefer Jacquetta to either of the others. I have known two people called Jacqueline and both went by Jacqui.
Jacqueline is fine in French. In English it is too long and too ornate. I've never known, and can't imagine, a Jacqueline who didn't go by Jackie.
Jacquelyn is an abomination. People who want to use French names are at liberty to do so, but this kind of hybrid is ridiculous.

I like Jacqueline but not Jacquelyn
Jacqueline is a very pretty name.
It's okay.
If you want the French pr. I would pick Jacqueline.
For the English pronunciation I kind of like Jaclyn. I find it interesting.
I don't like Jacquelyn.

I like Jacqueline. The name was most popular during the 1960's when American First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy was in the news. She was of French heritage on her father's side so she pronounced it like they do in France: "zhak-leen".
I fell in love with this name the first time I heard it in grade 3! Still one of my faves! I don't like any nn.
I don't find them ugly, but they're definitely not my thing. If I had to choose a favorite spelling, I'd probably go with Jaquelyn.
