[Opinions] Emilia/Molly
Do you pronounce Emilia like Amelia (a-meal-lia) or e-mill-ia?
We like both pronunciations but at this stage we like the e-mill-ia pron, mostly due to the fact Amelia is so popular. We will use Emilia 'Molly' Josephine
(Love Molly so much, and it goes great with surname, even though it is a bit of a stretch as a nn for Emilia. Also this way she has another name option is she wants a more 'grown up' name as most people think Molly is to childish). What do you think of
Isla Charlotte Marina
Connor Michael
Emilia 'Molly' Josephine
Jack Barrett Peter
Henry Joseph
Eva Norah ? (any other suggestions for a 2nd nn?)* Marina, Michael, Josephine, Peter, Joseph and Norah are all family names. Thanks so much.(edited to change Subject)

Molly is a great nickname for Emilia!I say it as eh-MEE-lee-ah, and if you want eh-MILL-ee-ah, be prepared to correct everyone.Emilia Josephine is gorgeous!Isla Charlotte Marina -LOVE this!
Connor Michael -Very nice
Emilia 'Molly' Josephine -As above, gorgeous
Jack Barrett Peter -I love Peter but loathe Jack and Barrett, sorry.
Henry Joseph -Terrific!
Eva Norah ? -Bad flow. What about Eva ______ Norah? Eva Charlotte Norah, Eva Isabel Norah, Eva Rachel Norah, Eva Lily Norah...

I pronounce Emilia like Amelia. I prefer Amelia because Emilia is so close to Emma, Emily, etc which is even more popular than Amelia.Emilia Josephine is nice. I love the name Molly. It's cute and it's not too much of a stretch as a nn for Emilia imo. Some people view Molly as childish so I guess it's best to give her a name to fall back on when she's older.

I am really liking Amelia lately, but when you say them both a-meal-ia or e-mill-ia, it's really only a slight difference. I wouldn't go through life correcting people if you think they are "mispronouncing" it.
People say my name both Law-rie and Lor-ee and I consider both correct pronounciations.

I pronounce it eh-meal-lia so it's like Amelia but with an eh instead of an uh (if that makes any sense). We will use Emilia 'Molly' Josephine
Emilia Josephine is beautiful. I don't think Molly is that big of a stretch as a nickname either. The whole name is lovely. What do you think of
Isla Charlotte Marina - I like Isla and Charlotte but not Marina.
Connor Michael - Connor is nms. I love Michael with the nn Mick.
Emilia 'Molly' Josephine - Lovely.
Jack Barrett Peter - Jack Barrett flows well but adding Peter to it makes it sound slightly choppy. It is nice, though.
Henry Joseph - I'm not a big fan of the name Henry. Joseph is okay with the nn Joe.
Eva Norah ? - Eve Norah would flow better than Eva Norah. Some combo suggestions -- Eva Norah Simone, Eva Norah Jacqueline, Eva Norah Grace, Eva Norah Annabel, or Eva Norah Allison.

I pronounce Emilia as e-mill-ia. Molly is too much of a stretch as a nn for Emilia imo. How about Amalia or Malia nn Molly? I like all of the first names that you're considering. I also like the middle names Norah and Marina. The other middle names aren't really my style.

You have no idea how pleased I am to hear that even though you love the name Molly (so do I), you're using it as a nickname in case your child feels that Molly is to childish when she grows up. It's so refreshing to see a parent who is naming their child for the present as well as the future. Kudos times 1000000 for taking your CHILD into consideration when choosing a name! This makes me so happy!
