The group were part of a reality TV show which was allegedly overworking and underpaying the kids and making them work when they were having medical issues, and also verbally abusing them. It is theorized by some that Jojo Siwa's (the show's owner) team chose to start her disastrous rebrand right after Rolling Stone published an article about it as a cover up.
