I would be momentarily, fleetingly surprised to meet a baby Scott. It’s dated, but dated male names seem to have greater longevity than dated female names. Scott fits in with Graham, Reid, Max, and the like.

come to think of it, there may already be baby Scott's out there who're named after their 50-60 year old grandfathers.
