Charlotte is beautiful, although somewhat common nowadays. My only qualm with the name is the masculine nickname "
Charlie".
Helen is my favorite name on this list; it's classy and underused, nowadays.
Gabrielle is a pretty-sounding name, but I prefer the name
Gabriella.
Emma is gorgeous and universal (just as it's meaning!), but it's become very common. It seems even more so than
Emily did in the 1990s and 2000s. I don't mind common names, but this has put a little damper on this name. Still,
Emma is a wonderful name.
Maddalena sounds nice, but I'd prefer
Magdalena or
Madelina instead.
Scarlett has a cool sound, and the nickname "Scar" is neat, but the color associate turns me away.
Elena is an amazing name, though I struggle with pronouncing it.
