I’m Katherine and my older brother is Benjamin. Ben would have been Katherine if he had been a girl. My mom liked Emma, but she thought it was too popular. She also liked Kristen, but it was too close to my aunt’s name. It would have been too confusing, as she is around a lot. She also likes Sarah and Hannah. I’ve asked her about boy names, and she said that she and my dad had too much trouble choosing my brother’s name, that she has no clue what I would have been called as a boy. She liked Owen, but my dad said no. James is one they both like, but I don’t think they would have picked it.
