[Opinions] Re: Muhamad Khaliq Farhan Jr

Traditionally, it's first names and, to a lesser extent, middle names that are used to name a child after oneself.
Most children take their father's surname anyway so all of your children (including females) would have Farhan as their last name so it would be a moot point.

I think Farhan is a mn not the surname but poster wants to change it to a surname
This is because I don't want to be called by my father's name (Abdul Malek) and I don't want my children to go through the same humiliation! This is why I'm converting my third given name (Farhan) into my surname (it has already become one anyway), so my children could be called by their surname instead of their father's first name!
