Help[Opinions] An interesting family I came across on The Peerage
I'm looking at a lot of Telegraph birth announcements and found a family with interesting names that came up on The Peerage.
Hope is the father's (born in 1949) grandmother's maiden name.
Father [1949] Ian Ramsay Hope
Mother [1949] Virginia Phyllis Theresa
and they had three sons,
Son1 [1982] Alexander Storm David Hope
Son2 [1984] Charles John Bernard Hope
Son3 [1987] George Ian Henry Hope
who had their own families.

and had three sons himself,
Son1 [2017] Laurence Alfred Douglas Hope
Son2 [2020] Claude Ernest Breese* Hope

Wow, Son 3 [1987] used such vintage names! I love it! Alexander Storm is also SUCH a cool name.

Ian and Virginia's three sons have OK names, with the rather unEnglish exception of Storm. They are a very Hopeful family, I must say. Son 2 and Jessica Pamela were very creative in their name choices. Farleigh and Winefride clash alarmingly; good thing they're separated by Elizabeth. As for Phoenix, Lockie and Star - James Ian and Victoria Flora (if you don't mind rhymes) are positively ordinary. I do respect Son 3 for confining himself to a modest three names each! Of which I only like Ian and Bernard, but then, I'm a pleb. I love, and would use, Robin Peter Ian, but that's as far as I'd go.
