[Opinions] Ainslie
Replies
The name in theory is a cute idea, but I think Ainsley or Aimsey works better for girls, but I don't feel any variation of the name or the name itself would fit a boy.
I like it, but I think Ainsley is more intuitive than Ainslie. I picture both on a girl (I could maybe see Ainsley on a boy, but not Ainslie).
I have known a couple of Ainsleys- all girls. I don't love it and I don't hate it. As far as names that were on trend a few years ago it is inoffensive. I do strongly prefer the -ley ending to -lie.

I'm not a huge fan. Prefer the Ainsley spelling. It sounds more feminine to me.
Unpopular opinion, but I like it. There's a lake called Ainslie in the rural areas of where I live, and some people with family there are named after it, including the little red-haired granddaughter of a woman I know, so that's what I think of. I think it's sweet, and sounds a bit more feminine than masculine but could work for both.
I kinda like it too. More than Kinsley anyway. That's a cute story about the lake connection!
I dislike it and Ainsley.
Don't like it at all
I don’t like it. It sounds more feminine than masculine but I’d never use it.
I think it's horrific. I wouldn't use it for any living being.
