I know exactly what you mean about the first child name vs. the second child name. It kind of happened to my sister and me. I was given one of my mother's favorite names. When my sister came along, my mom hated my dad's favorite name. They ended up making a list of about ten names, then each ranked them, and the highest ranking overall name was what my sister was named.
