[Opinions] Re: Blair and Lainey

Blair as in a very loud noise? Also a surname. Not to my taste at all for either or no gender.
I know a Laine (not Lainey) who was named after her mother's best friend at school. She was Elaine, and Laine was her nickname. I don't particularly like it, though I respect the reason behind it; I wouldn't like Lainey as a full name; it seems very infantile.
