I like names ending in -ana or -anna but I don't like the sound of Prissy or Priscilla, making Prisciana not appeal much to me.
I think it's fine to ask someone about their name like "How do you pronounce that?" "It's so pretty, were you named after something/someone?" I feel like if you asked, "What's the origin of that name?" they might not know what you're talking about. Most people do not know where names in general come from. Others have names that were created by the parents.
