Rina is an uncommon name in Israel meaning "Singing" or "joy" in Hebrew.
I prefer Rita over Rina, Rina is not my thing but maybe I'd like it as a shorter form of a longer name.

I like it, it's simple but pretty and can be used as a name on its own, but most people would view it as a nickname. As a nickname, I like it for Christina, Katherine and Marina.
